According to the Hindu calendar, this festival celebrated on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha (May or June), every year. Mahesh Navami is the festival which Maheshwari peoples (Maheshwari Samaj) celebrates as the origin day/foundation day of Maheshwari dynasty/Maheshwarism (Maheshwaritva), founded in 3133 BC.
