"Maheshacharya" is supreme religious leader of worldwide Maheshwari community. Presently Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari is the Maheshacharya. Maheshacharya is a religious title officially used only for the president (peethadhipati) of Divyshakti Yogpeeth Akhara (Which is famous by the name of Maheshwari Akhada). Mahesh Navami is the biggest festival of Maheshwari community.
